Copyright and DMCA Policy

EBD Sweden AB (org. no. 559332-0384), registered in Sweden and trading as EvidInvest, respects the intellectual property rights of others. This page explains how to report material you believe infringes your copyright, how to respond if your material was removed, and what happens to accounts that infringe repeatedly.

1. What this policy covers

EvidInvest publishes analysis built from public regulatory filings, and it stores material that users create — investment theses, notes, list names and saved scenarios. Today none of that user material is displayed publicly: it is visible only to the account that created it. This policy applies to anything on the Service that a rightsholder can see, including any user material that becomes publicly visible in future.

2. Designated agent

Email is the fastest route and the one we monitor. Notices sent by any other channel may be delayed.

3. How to submit a notice of claimed infringement

To be effective, a notice must be a written communication that includes substantially all of the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered by one notice.
3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — a direct URL is best.
4. Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice can make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees, under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).

4. What we do with a notice

We review notices promptly. Where a notice is effective, we expeditiously remove or disable access to the material identified, and we notify the account that supplied it, passing on a copy of the notice so they can respond. We may remove material while a dispute is unresolved.

5. Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the agent above. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3) it must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, postal address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice or their agent.

We will forward an effective counter-notice to the original complainant. Unless they tell us they have filed an action seeking a court order, we may restore the material in not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.

6. Repeat infringers

We keep a record of notices we accept as effective. We may suspend or terminate the account of any user who is the subject of repeated effective notices, and we will terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. This sits alongside our general right of suspension and termination under section 14 of the Terms of Service.

7. Trade marks and other rights

For trade mark complaints, or complaints under law outside the United States, write to the same address and describe the right you rely on and the material concerned. We handle those under the same review process even though the §512 timetable does not apply to them.
