From trading to investing: value the business, not the ticker
If you have traded on charts, tips and AI stock picks — and have the account history to show for it — this page is for you. EvidInvest does not pick stocks and never says buy or sell. It shows what a company’s SEC filings say the business is worth, as a range with every input linked to the filing, so the next decision is yours and it is grounded.
No account, no card, no trial. Nothing here will tell you what to buy this week.
Three habits that change when you value the business
Trading asks what the price will do. Investing asks what the thing is worth and whether the filings back it up. The tools below are built for the second question only.
Read the filing, not the feed
Revenue, diluted EPS, free cash flow and the share count come from the 10-K and 10-Q as filed. Every figure on the site names the form and links to sec.gov.
Hold a range, not a target
Seven valuation methods, each with a known blind spot, produce a bear–base–bull range and a count of how many agree. A target is one opinion; a range shows you the disagreement.
Own the assumptions
A DCF is only as honest as its growth and discount rates. Ours are shown — and the free calculator lets you set your own and see what the price already implies.
A stock picker, on your terms: the free screener
You searched for a picker. Here is the version that does not decide for you: set the criteria, get the list, then run fair value on the results — every number cited.

One-click presets to start (PEG under 1, free-cash-flow value, dividends), then Run Fair Value on the results to see each company’s range against its price. The list is yours; the filings are the judge.
Set your own assumptions
The DCF calculator is free and shows every input. Change the growth rate, the discount rate, the terminal multiple — and see what the current price already assumes.

Who this is not for
- If you want a price target, this is the wrong site. We publish ranges from filings and say which methods disagree.
- If you want someone to pick for you, the screener will not — it runs your criteria and shows its work.
- If you want to know what a business is worth before you put money in it, you are in the right place.
Free to use. An account is optional.
Everything above works signed out. An account adds watchlists (20 stocks), thesis alerts that read each new filing against the reason you own a stock, and longer written analyses — the last two draw on credits, from $10, no subscription.
- Do you recommend stocks?
- No. Nothing on the site says buy, sell or hold. It shows filed numbers, a valuation range and the methods behind it.
- Where do the numbers come from?
- Financial statements back to 1985, linked to the SEC filing — 10-K, 10-Q, 20-F, 40-F — from 2009 on, and Cboe prices delayed 15 minutes. No analyst estimates.
- Is the range a forecast?
- No. It is what several methods say the business is worth on what it has filed. Growth expectations are yours to add, in the DCF calculator, with the inputs in view.

EvidInvest never says buy or sell. It shows what the filings say and how each number was computed. Research, not investment advice.
